I will be 38 this July and things needed to change, as I cannot work outside the home. My cute awesome son is Autistic and needs to be Homeschooled. Wonderful 44yo husband is a disabled vet who cannot be left alone. Britt only has a year left before she goes off to college so we are visiting colleges. I have missed out on so much with her this is why my last blog I asked about which do you choose "Security" or "Freedom".
About 8 years go we left Pasco county with little money and I truly believe things happen for a reason. We was staying in a hotel in Dunedin when someone said Clearwater Beach hotels are very reasonable and being sold. SO I said why not, so I went and called 7-8 all prices out of my reach but this one English guy said meet me and did not name a price. Showed me apartment hotel which was completely empty. I asked for work he said he had nothing and left. The old owner asked me to look at her place upstairs. It was a 5br/2ba and above pics shows you the views I had and will have again!!
So I called the new owner and said I wanted that apt he said he was leaving to care for his two restaurants in England in morning just pay $250 and try to rent all the apartments downstairs. I said I can do that see you in two weeks. He came back I was working for beach restaurant full time and filled my building for more than he was asking and the building next door to me. By end of three months I was running 17 hotel/motel and condos they took over to tear down. Did I like that they was tearing these mom and pop hotels down? NO! But it was a job and at that time provided for my kids. So at this time I was rent free and getting weekly pay from them and working as promotions for restaurant.
After two years they moved me to a smaller hotel which was their last one and I stayed there a year. When we moved from there we moved into clearwater and into a house. I didn't work for couple months and then ended up buying into a small BBQ shack.
My partner and I ran this for over a year before his health became too much. I really enjoyed this because it combined some of my favorite things business, payroll and customers. We sold it and I went to be manager with a friend of his who opened a bigger BBQ place but he didn't pay.
I went back into corporate world for 2 years and had to let it go for my family. This isn't my first time as a Internet marketer. But this is the first time with a great team behind me and without pressure.
I own two business and enjoy the "Freedom" they provide to me. Because in time I will have that slide show above. I know it will not happen overnight because I am realistic. But I will get there. I want people to get to know me for me not because I post quotes and my business links. If you converse with me you will see I do converse back. Just ask any of my TRUE followers.
